'Annular' Eclipse - Albuquerque, NM. May 20th 2012.

At the apex of the annular eclipse event in Albuquerque on Sunday, May 20th.


We weren't there to film just the eclipse itself.


The event simply became an element in the storyline of the project I was working on -

over that weekend.



The photo was taken by one of the producers on his Blackberry.


I was pleasantly surprised when he came up from behind me -

enthusiastically wanting to show me the photo he had just taken.



I had been listening to the ambience ...

With the diminishing light a few dogs had started to bark, the birds had started their evensong -


And we humans . . . had become subdued.
